Copying and Pasting Text

So what exactly can you do with highlighting?  Well, one thing that is very helpful you can do with highlighting is COPYING AND PASTING TEXT.  You may want to duplicate text, for example, in an Email message. Rather than retyping a whole paragraph or page, highlighting allows you to single out the text you wish to duplicate.

To copy:
  1. Highlight the text you wish to copy.
  2. Look at the browser menu at the top left part of your screen and locate the word "Edit".  Click on it.
  3. "Edit" is actually a drop-down menu.  Locate the function labeled "Copy" and click on it.
To paste:
  1. Move the mouse cursor into the textbox into which you want to copy the text.
  2. Click inside the textbox and make sure there is a typing cursor flashing in the textbox.
  3. Go back to the browser menu at the top left side of the screen and click on the "Edit" menu again.
  4. Locate the function labeled "Paste" and click on it.
Practice copying and pasting the paragraph at the top of the page and then go on to the next page.
