Radio Buttons

Good work on Scrolling!  Now that we've learned different the ways to scroll,  it's time to take a look at radio buttons, check boxes, and selection menus.

First, we'll examine RADIO BUTTONS Radio buttons are used on the Internet and computer programs when a selection needs to be made or a question needs to be answered.  Take a look at the examples below.

Notice that as you click the radio buttons, the dot moves to whichever button you last clicked.  Only one selection can be made at a time.


Example 1

Indicate your gender:

Male      Female

 

Example 2

Indicate the Library Branch to which you would like your books delivered:

    Central Library
    Casa View Branch
    Lakewood Branch
    Oak Lawn Branch
    Preston Royal Branch
    Walnut Hill Branch
